This is the fourth year running that the Green has been given the Green Heritage Award, which is sponsored by English Heritage. When the Green was first given this prestigious award in 2007, there were only 46 sites in the UK that were given the award.

This is the fourth year running that the Green has been given the Green Heritage Award, which is sponsored by English Heritage. When the Green was first given this prestigious award in 2007, there were only 46 sites in the UK that were given the award.

In order to qualify for this award, parks must have already been given a Green Flag Award. NGAG's community involvement and activities that draw upon the heritage aspects of the site, have contributed to our gaining the Heritage award.
