Written by Alex Allardyce, a past NGAG chair and local architect <em>'The Village that Changed the World' </em>was published by NGAG as its contribution to the celebrations around the Green's 2008 anniversaries.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">'<em>The Village that Changed the World - A History of Newington Green London N16'</em> has won&nbsp;the prestigious&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Walter Bor Media Award from the London Forum. Written by Alex Allardyce, a past NGAG chair and local architect <em>'The Village that Changed the World' </em>was published by NGAG as its contribution to the celebrations around the Green's 2008 anniversaries.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Booklet was awarded first prize in the publications category of the London Forum Media Awards which were announced on 25 November 2009.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Walter Bor Media Awards, which&nbsp;are&nbsp;presented every two years, commemorate Walter Bor, the first President of the London Forum of Amenity and Civic Societies, and seek to promote high standards in the material published in all media by member societies.</p>
