Postcard ~ Newington Green in Winter

Historic Terrace ~ Winter
The Newington Green Action Group commissioned the artist Jan Bowman to design a set of postcards that depict the historic buildings around the Green, during the four seasons. This card shows the West side, with 52-55 Newington Green, which is the oldest brick terrace in England and is a Grade 1 Listed building.
Each card gives some information about the history of Newington Green's buildings and their famous residents on the reverse side:
'The oldest surviving terrace in London. Dated 1658 and Listed Grade 1, these buildings are extremely rare survivals ....'
'No 54 was home to Dr Richard Price (1758-84), Minister to the Newington Green Meeting House (now Unitarian Chapel) ....'
