After the AGM, at 8.15pm, we will be launching our new local history book

The Village that Changed the World.  A History of Newington Green, London N16                              by Alex Allardyce

This book is about the 500 year history of the area - from its days as a small medieval forest clearing to the recent regeneration works.   It is being published by Newington Green Action Group in celebration of the 350th anniversary of the historic terrace at 52-55 Newington Green, the Chapel building's 300 years of Dissent, and the 250 years since the arrival of the extraordinary man, Dr Richard Price, at Newington Green.

Come and hear the author Alex Allardyce give an illustrated talk.   Signed copies of the book will be available on the evening, at £5.99, so don't forget to bring your cheque book.

Drinks will be available from the Mildmay Club bar.
