Newington Green Action Group AGM ~ 17 June '09

NGAG's AGM will take place on  Wednesday 17 June 2009

We will be joined by the Mayor of Islington, Cllr Anna Berent.

Speakers:

Rupert Bentley Walls, Hackney's Arboricultural Officer has kindly agreed to give an illustrated talk about trees and how to care for them, to support NGAG's recent planting of 30 street trees around the Newington Green area.

Trevor Mbatha, Chief Executive of the Mildmay Community Partnership will be speaking about the proposals for an exciting redevelopment of the Mildmay Community Centre.

Our Safer Neighbourhoods Police Teams have been invited and will be available for any questions you may have.

NGAG Committee: NGAG are looking for more people to become part of our executive committee, so if you would like to get more involved with your local community, do come along and join us.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided

Mildmay Club's Bar will be open.
