Garden Wildlife Survey
L B Islington's Ecology Centre would like all Islington residents who have gardens or balconies to complete their new Garden Wildlife Survey and to return it by 8th August 2008.
(Hackney residents who live close to the border would probably be able to complete the questionnaire if they want to do so).
This is a really simple survey to do and you do not need to know lots about wildlife - there are photos to help you recognise animals and birds etc. The survey will be used to provide information for the Council's Biodiversity Action Plan, so that they can develop strategies for our local area, to help us all cope with the impact of climate change. Through the survey, the Ecology Centre will have information to help them work out which species of animals, birds and plants are finding things hard and which are thriving. So we can all do our bit to help this worthwhile scheme.
NGAG will be giving out some paper copies of the Survey at the AGM and you may phone for a paper copy to be sent to you.
