Free Arts Courses for young people with Newington Green Now & Then
There is an interesting range of free arts and heritage courses available for local young people of 13 and 19 years, or up to age 25 for people with disabilities.
What makes these courses different and special, is that they are all inspired by the fascinating history of the Newington Green area. These arts, history, drama and music courses can lead to a Bronze Level Arts Award.
The project is managed by the Mildmay Community Partnership and has been awarded a substantial grant from the Heritage Lottery fund.
The Website has now added an interesting Sound Trail about the history of Newington Green, that you can download and play as you walk around the area.
